Cape Town TV (CTV) is a non-profit, free-to-air, community channel operating in the greater Cape Town metropolitan area. The channel broadcasts 24 hours per day with informational programmes that include news, sports, documentaries, short films, music shows, magazine and talk shows.
CTV is committed to broadcasting content that is directly answerable to the needs of community, strengthens civil society, showcases local talent, promotes freedom of expression, access to information and education and empowers people to tell their own stories.
Cape Town TV Broadcast footprint = 2.5 million. Recent figures released from SAARF indicate that CTV’s viewership is now averaging more than 1.2 million viewers per month and that CTV appeals to a wide diversity of age, income and language groups.

- Opening and Closing Billboards: 15 second opening and 15 second closing
- Commercial Break Stings: 5 second bumper before a commercial break.
- Classic Commercial: 1 x 30” free commercial per half hour sponsored segment
- Segment Sponsors: Segment Sponsors will have a 5 second half billboard right limited to 20% of the screen and placed in the lower third of the screen either at the opening or closing of a sponsored programme segment
- A Corner Screen Logo: Your company logo displayed on the top left/right hand corner of the television screen. Permissible for 50% of the duration of the show.
- Cape Town Television Logo: Sponsors may use the Cape Town Television logo to leverage their sponsorship investment only with prior written permission.
